CUSTOMER SERVICE TERMS
Please review these terms before submitting a service request. You may save or print this page for your records.
These Customer Service Terms apply to services provided by Bernie’s A2D Mobile Detail. By checking the required agreement box and submitting a service request, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to these terms.
Submitting a request does not confirm an appointment or final price. Service is confirmed only after the vehicle, service location, requested scope, timing, and price have been reviewed and approved.
Bernie’s A2D Mobile Detail
Version 1.0 | Effective October 11, 2026
The confirmed service order controls the work to be performed. Package descriptions identify the standard scope, but the final price or required service time may change if the vehicle category, condition, access, or requested work differs materially from the information provided.
1. SERVICE SCOPE AND ESTIMATES
2. INITIAL DETAILS AND MAINTENANCE ELIGIBILITY
New customers begin with an approved full interior and exterior detail. A2D Maintenance Detail service becomes available after completion of the initial detail.
Maintenance service includes routine Essential services, with applicable Elite services performed as needed at the technician’s discretion. Active maintenance customers receive 15% off eligible add-on services.
3. VEHICLE PREPARATION
Before service, the customer must remove valuables, cash, personal documents, loose belongings, and any other items that could interfere with the service.
Bernie’s A2D Mobile Detail does not open or clean inside glove compartments or center consoles.
Child safety seats will not be removed, adjusted, or reinstalled. If a child safety seat remains installed, the surrounding area will be cleaned only to the extent reasonably accessible.
4. VEHICLE ACCESS & KEYS
The customer authorizes the agreed method of vehicle access, including in-person access, a key drop, keys made available at the property, or an unlocked vehicle with express customer permission.
Bernie’s A2D Mobile Detail may move the vehicle only when reasonably necessary to perform the service safely and only with customer authorization.
5. SERVICE LOCATION AND PROPERTY PERMISSION
The customer confirms that mobile detailing is permitted at the service location and that the location provides a safe, accessible work area.
Private residential driveways are the standard service location. Apartment, condominium, workplace, shared, managed, or HOA-controlled areas require the applicable property permission before service.
Service may be declined or rescheduled if the location is unsafe, inaccessible, restricted, or unsuitable for lawful mobile detailing.
6. WATER, POWER, AND SITE CONDITIONS
Bernie’s A2D Mobile Detail supplies the planned mobile water and power arrangements unless a different arrangement is agreed upon in advance.
The customer must disclose any known site restrictions, gate procedures, parking rules, access requirements, or safety conditions before the appointment.
7. CONDITION DISCLOSURES AND HAZARDOUS MATERIAL
The customer must disclose heavy soil, excessive pet hair, sand, smoke or strong odors, bodily fluids, mold or mildew, pest activity, sharp objects, chemicals, or other unusual conditions before service.
If an undisclosed condition creates a health, safety, equipment, or service-scope concern, work may be paused, modified, repriced with customer approval, or declined.
8. PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS AND FRAGILE COMPONENTS
The vehicle will be inspected and may be photographed before service. The customer remains responsible for pre-existing scratches, dents, stains, tears, loose trim, failing clear coat, damaged controls, cracked glass, worn materials, aftermarket equipment, and other existing conditions.
Bernie’s A2D Mobile Detail will use reasonable care but is not responsible for a pre-existing defect or a failure caused by normal wear, age, prior repair, hidden damage, or a loose or compromised component unless the damage results from a failure to use reasonable care.
9. RESULTS AND SERVICE LIMITATIONS
Detailing improves a vehicle’s appearance and cleanliness but does not guarantee complete removal of every stain, odor, contaminant, scratch, oxidation condition, or instance of pet hair.
Headlight-restoration results depend on the condition of the lenses and any existing damage. Material limitations discovered before or during service will be communicated to the customer.
10. REQUIRED SERVICE DOCUMENTATION
The customer authorizes reasonable before, during, and after photographs or video needed to document the vehicle’s condition, existing damage, approved work, safety concerns, and completed service.
These records are used for service administration and dispute prevention. This required documentation does not constitute permission to use the images for marketing.
11. OPTIONAL MARKETING PERMISSION
Permission to use vehicle photographs or video for marketing is optional and is requested separately.
When marketing permission is granted, the customer authorizes Bernie’s A2D Mobile Detail to use photographs or video of the vehicle on its website, social-media accounts, portfolio, and advertising.
License plates will be covered or obscured. Faces, addresses, and other personal identifying information will be excluded. Declining marketing permission does not affect service eligibility or price.
12. WEATHER AND OPERATIONAL SAFETY
Bernie’s A2D Mobile Detail may delay, pause, or reschedule service because of precipitation, freezing conditions, excessive heat or wind, lightning, unsafe access, equipment failure, or another condition that makes service unsafe or impractical.
A weather- or safety-related reschedule initiated by Bernie’s A2D Mobile Detail will not result in a customer cancellation charge.
13. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
At least 12 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
A cancellation, reschedule, no-show, unavailable vehicle, denied access, or unusable service location within 12 hours of the scheduled appointment may result in a charge of up to 50% of the scheduled service price.
14. MAINTENANCE SCHEDULING AND SKIPPED VISITS
Maintenance customers may request to reschedule within the same service week when availability permits.
A skipped weekly visit may move to the next available week at the normal maintenance price when the vehicle remains within routine-maintenance condition.
An extended gap, substantial condition change, or unusually heavy accumulation may require a condition adjustment or a new initial detail before maintenance pricing resumes.
15. PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION
Payment is due when service is completed unless a separate billing arrangement has been approved.
The customer authorizes the confirmed service price, applicable taxes, and any separately approved adjustments or add-ons.
A card may be kept on file and charged after service only under the customer’s Square authorization or recurring-service agreement.
16. EMERGENCY/RUSH SERVICE
Emergency service is limited to an approved Essential Detail and is subject to availability. Submission of an emergency request does not guarantee acceptance or dispatch.
Dispatch requires completion of the emergency screening process and advance payment of the applicable rush fee: $250 for a standard emergency request or $500 for a severe-condition emergency request. The rush fee is separate from the price of the Essential Detail.
The rush fee is refundable until dispatch begins and becomes nonrefundable once travel to the service location begins. If Bernie’s A2D Mobile Detail accepts payment but cannot perform the approved service, the rush fee will be refunded.
17. CUSTOMER APPROVAL METHODS
The customer may approve a service order, condition adjustment, add-on, price change, or change in service scope in person or through a recorded electronic communication, including text message, email, or Square.
Bernie’s A2D Mobile Detail will document the approval method, time, and approved amount. No added charge or material change in service scope will be performed without customer approval.
18. COMPLETION REVIEW
The customer should review the completed vehicle when practical and promptly identify any concern.
When the customer is not present, completion photographs and a service summary may be used for remote review. Any concern will be evaluated against the confirmed service scope, pre-service inspection record, and service documentation.
